Word Challenge

Hi guys! Well this isn’t an actual post, just a notification.

Well, with each post I do, I’m going to say hello, but in a different language. So for example, I might say something like: “Bonjour, my little bloggers.” Then you have to say the language that I typed it in. First I will go easy, then I’ll get a little harder, and probably end up doing it in Hungarian. 🙂

No need for comments really, for this isn’t really a post.

The… Air Show!

Hello, peeps. Well most of you know that the air show is coming up on Saturday. (Yay!) And I go there every year that it’s on, my brother wants to be a pilot when he’s older, so that’s helpfull. 🙂

For those who don’t know what the air show is, it’s this giant show at Avalon airport. There are lots of jets and palnes. There are mind-blowing acts, or just plain funny! Last time my fave plain was called ‘the jelly plain’. It had jelly beans (painted on), it looked like a toy one. The guy in the airplane was out of control (as a joke) and when the guy on the speaker said “Show me the papers for the plane” he threw them out the window! 😆

It’s really cool because I can hear and see them practicing right over my house! So I can get a ‘Behind the scenes look for free.

There are lots of stalls there too, with carvings of airplanes/jets. And you can actually go in a a jet, but they don’t get the plane going, you just learn what the buttons and all are for.

My Absolute, Complete, Favourite All Time Books Ever!

OK, so a little bit of over reaction on the heading, but at least I’m telling the truth. So I’m going to go over (what the heading said). Of course there all going to be horsey (I bet you saw that coming), but anyway. Here it goes!

  • Canterwood Crest Academy. A story about a girl called Sasha Silver and her champion horse, Charm. Sasha is the new girl at Canterwood, she’s met her new roomie, Paige;  and taken care of Charm down at the stables. All she has to do now is get used to homework (Canterwoods top priority), and move into her dorm. But she’s in for the time of her life when she meets ‘the trio’ . The trio are three girls with some serious attitude. I hope Sasha likes being teased, perified just a with someone coaching her (in horse riding),  and having hot molasses tipped on her head. If not, she will NOT be happy.

  • Wildwood stables: A girl called Taylor goes out on an animal rescue. She finds two abandoned horses, one called Albert, and the cutest little pony that gets anxious when Alberts not near. Taylor has nowhere to put them, so she sneaks them into an old stable that got shut down a couple years ago. The next day she meets Mrs. LeFluer, a lady who’s keen on re-opening the equestrian centre. They work together to get the syable good enough for borders. Albert and Pixie are the only school horses, so they try to find other ponys. In their adventures, Albert has a hit and run collision with a car, he almost got sold and he just causes trouble that includes money that they don’t have.

There’s A Dead-Line With Everything, Even Friendship.

It’s true, there’s a dead-line with everything, even the best of friendships. But we have to accept that it’s life. There’s a dead-line with one of the best friendships I’ve had. My absolute bestie, Iesha. 😥

She’s moved from here (Victoria) to Queensland. We had the best of times, and shared our love of horses with each-other. But the time has come, to be separated. Hopefully this will make our friendship stronger, in a way. We’ve had so many great times together, and a couple of harsh times too.

Iesha will come down and visit me (I hope) through the years. And I’ll probably fly up there and see her. I’ve moved a couple of times and have been to different schools, I thought it would be too hard to make new friends and fit in. But I was wrong, and I met the best of people. Don’t worry, Iesha, about not fitting in or anything like that. And I’m sure that if the girls in your new class don’t like horses that much, do the thing we did with Indi. Convince. 🙂

I hope that Iesha will make some more friends to help her with hard times and laugh with her through the fun times. Like she did when I came to our school in grade two. She was the first person I met when I arrived.

People say that God didn’t make something if he didn’t make a cure for it. So something good will probably come out of Iesha moving, our friendship might become stronger, Iesha might get a pony! And we’ll get to have more friends.

School is starting soon and I’m probably feeling more worried than you! I don’t even know where my classroom is, and I don’t have you to talk to at school or anything. But I’m sure I’ll cope.

I couldn’t find any photos of us 🙁 But I think you know what we look like.

Keep Fighting

Well my holidays haven’t really gone to plan AT ALL! My best friend is moving all the way to Brisbane (there will be a post about that next week hopefully). Then, the horse I treasure, learnt to ride on and love more than I do with my own pony, got colic. Colic is really bad stomach ache. You know when you get a bad tummy ache? And you feel like you could die from it (but you don’t really think that, you say it to explain how bad it is), well colic is ten times more than that, and horse CAN die from it easily.

He was laying on the ground for waay too long. A horse should only lay on the ground for no longer then half an hour, he was on the ground for over 6 hours! 🙁 I felt so sad, I thought it was the very last time I’d see him. I spent two hours with him, trying to get him up, and I had no idea what to do. People passed in and out, saying their good-byes.

Claire (the owner of him and equestrian center) decided to put him down that afternoon. He kept fighting to get up, once his head touched the ground, he knew it was the end. Every time his head came thisclose to the ground, he used all his energy to sit up again. He was getting nowhere.

Luckily, the vet couldn’t get there, so I got a little bit more time with him. Claire decided to give him one more night. One of the instructors/helpers (Billy) stayed with him all night, to get him through the night, giving him pain killers and comfort.

The next day, he was standing up! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I was sooo happy! He was even taking some steps every once and a while. I’m the happiest girl in the world that the vet couldn’t get there that night, if she got there, he would be looking over us right now. Galloping around with his older friends that left a while ago. But he’s here, with us, then he will go to the grand place, because he’s old, looking over us.

Keep fighting Brandy, don’t give up!

If you do have any questions, you can maybe right them in a comment! 🙂

But if you’re wondering about the red and blue, there the colours that Brandy and I have at comps ect…

Happy New Year!

Well I know I said I wouldn’t be leaving many posts, but I do have some time.

On January, 1st, 12:00 AM it was the new year! I was invited to a party, it was at Claire and David’s house, they’re the owners of the equestrian center that I keep my horse at.

We stayed till 3 in the morning. Just as it turned midnight, my sister ( Tara), My friend ( Mia) and I jumped in the pool. Well, not exactly, one of the horse riding instructors was invited pushed us in ( as a joke.)

When we got out of their pool, Erin (an instructor) started to tell us a ghost story. She said that when the equestrian center had a pony camp, she told the kids, and three children had to be sent home because they got so scared.

But I’d just like to say thank you so much to Miss Jordan and Mrs Morris for being my teachers in 2012, I loved have you all year! And I loved everything you taught us, maths, english and blogging. 🙂

And it’s… Christmas!

Hello all of my little bloggers. As you’d know, it’s christmas! I don’t know what to start with, anyway, maybe what my holidays will be like.

Well, all I’m planning to do for the summer break is… horse-ride! I bet you knew that was coming. 🙂 With my new pony, Nim, I’m planning to take him to my friends house. She has her own pony too called, Ruby, and they have their own little space to keep the max of three horses. They’re just renovating a new house, so maybe we could stay in there too.

So here is practictly everything that I got for christmas:

  • Socks, many, many socks (I have no idea why I got that many socks 😳 )
  • New saddle cloth that’s red, for Nim of course!
  • Books, so many books, I can’t count, seriously.
  • New chaps, you wear them when you horse ride for grip, you put them on you legs.
  • A movie called Phar Lap (I love that race horse, but Black Caviar has zoomed past him already)
  • Dr Dreadful, it’s this pack where you make stuff that looks like earwax or snot, but you eat it, and I think it tastes like jelly.
  • Perfume making pack, I love the flower scented one!

And a couple more things.

With a happy and safe holiday! 🙂

Just… Laugh!

Laughing is one of the most important things in life.

It isn’t just about having a good time, it can help with your health and other things. Here’s some facts about laughter:

Laughing 100 times is like rowing a small boat for 10 mins or going on an exercise bike for fifteen mins.

  • Laughter is infectious, when one person laughs, another person laughs, once in Africa, a few school girls started laughing in an uncontolled manner, it soon spread to other people and schools even closed for a little while so kids wouldn’t get the ‘laughing disease’.

  • Laughter is one of the best things for the body, say if you had cancer, some hospitals have clowns come in and make children with cancer laugh for a while, it’s actually the best medicine.

Just Laugh!
